HOW TO GET THERE

By car:

From downtown Nanaimo it is easy to access the Beban Social Centre by following Island Highway out of town.  Take a left on Northfield Road just after the Tim Hortons and Home Hardware. Follow Northfield Road until Bowen Road and then the destination will be on the right.

If you are coming from the northern part of the island, follow Highway 19 going southward.  Take a left onto Northfield Road and then another left onto Bowen Road.  The destination will be on your right.

Public transit:

Beban Social Centre can be access by the  40 VIU Express – Downtown if travelling from the north. From downtown Nanaimo, take the 30 NRGH – Woodgrove and the stop is Northbound Bowen at Northfield.
