Venue and City Information
Victoria is British Columbia's capital city. The Conference Centre is attached to the Fairmont Empress Hotel. Vancouver Island is accesible by air or ferry only. Several airlines provide service to Victoria. The Conference Centre is located 30 minutes drive from Victoria International Airport and 40 minutes drive from the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal. Floatplanes land in the Inner Harbour across from the Empress Hotel. The helicopter port is a 5 minute taxi ride from the Conference Centre. Ferries normally run every 2 hours.
