The goal of the Seminar Series is to create awareness about career opportunities in a variety of industry sectors. This year there are two seminar areas: one focused around Trades & Technology and the other geared towards Career Options. Seminar presentations are 30 minutes in duration. No registration is necessary for the Seminars. Seating is first come, first serve!

The Aircraft structures technician trade is suited for both men and women, is in increasing demand, requires no prior experience, and is portable throughout Canada. Structures technicians repair and overhaul aircraft, manufacturing, modifying, and repairing sheet metal parts, structures, skins and panels to exacting tolerances. Unlike many other trades, it is practiced inside in a warm, clean environment and requires no heavy lifting. Graduates are qualified to start as structures apprentices and eventually become "S"-licensed aircraft structures technicians.
