ECF Launches a Series of Virtual Education and Career Fairs for British Columbia Students

November 4, 2020 - The Education & Career Fairs (ECF) launches its first series of online education and career fairs on December 3, 2020. 

While physical distancing measures encourage Canadian residents to stay 6ft apart, ECF pushes forward with a medley of online fairs connecting students, job seekers, and immigrants to education institutes, associations, and employers. 

Working together with school districts across British Columbia, attending the ECF has been added to the curriculum for numerous career classes across British Columbia secondary schools. The ECF experience features: 

  1. Live chat with admissions officers, employers, and financial aid representatives 
  2. Virtual workshops and online seminars 
  3. Videos of school campus tours, success stories, and more 
  4. Job opportunities listing 

Past 2019 fairs have reported attendance of 12,000 attendees and 100+ exhibitors across 5 in-person fairs, by going virtual the ECF team is excited to expand to include new audiences in British Columbia. Throughout 2020-2021, ECF will be hosting a series of virtual fairs for residents located in western and eastern British Columbia. Western region includes the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and Vancouver Coast. Eastern region includes Surrey, the Fraser Valley, the Interior, and Northern BC. 

Series 1
Western Region: Thursday, December 3, 2020 (9:00am - 2:00pm)
Eastern Region: Tuesday, December 8, 2020 (9:00am - 2:00pm)  

Series 2
Western Region: Thursday, February 25, 2021 (9:00am - 2:00pm)
Eastern Region: Tuesday, March 2, 2021 (9:00am - 2:00pm) 

Series 3
Western Region: Thursday, May 6, 2021 (9:00am - 2:00pm)
Eastern Region: Tuesday, May 11, 2021 (9:00am - 2:00pm) 

Join us on December 3, 2020, for the first virtual fair. Registration for ECF British Columbia Series 1 is now open. Registration is free and open to anyone.
